a. Register or sign up on Rentit4me.

b. Create a listing for the item you want to Give On Rent by posting your ad on Rentit4me.

c. Wait for your listed item to be approved by the admin.

d. Be available with your listed item at the time of pickup.

e. Get your rented item back after the rental period is over

How To Give On Rent a Product on Rentit4me?

To Give On Rent your products, on Rentit4me, you need to:

a. Sign up on the website.

b. Click on Give On Rent button appearing at the top bar of the website and upload your product images

c. Click Give On Rent button again on the screen that appears and upload the image(s) of the product.

d. Provide Basic details, Pricing details and Additional details of the product including actual specifications of the product such as, Make, Model, Manufacturing date, Dimensions etc in product details.

e. Read the Terms and Conditions carefully before posting your product and then click Post.

f. Rentit4me will review your product listing and approve the post in 24 hours or get in touch with you if some more details are required.

g. Once the product listing is approved, your product will be available on the Rentit4me website for renting details.You can also boost your listing by using our paid plans

h. When someone shows interest in your listing, you will receive a notification for Offer Received, which you can Approve/Reject.

How do I cancel a rental request that I’ve already accepted?

To cancel your rental order after accepting an offer, you need to contact the customer care at 9319866277 or email at info@rentit4me.com

How do I Remove My listing before any Offer Made on my listing?

To delete your product from the listing:

a. Go to your Dashboard > All Listings page.

b. Select the product you want to remove and click Delete Selected button.

c. Click OK on the confirmation message popup window.

How do I decline a pending rental request?

Goto Go to Dashboard > Listings > Offers Received > Actions > Reject

How can I make my listing Attractive?

Making your listing attractive is essential to attract potential renters and increase the chances of renting out your product on a Rentit4me website. You can increase your Ad Impressions by using our boosting feature through which your ad will get:

  • Displayed on top positions on our latest additions on home page.
  • Provide clear and detailed description of your product. Be honest and transparent about the product's condition and any limitations, and highlight its unique selling points.
  • Include 2-3 high-quality images of your product from different angles to give potential renters a clear idea of its appearance and condition.
  • Set a competitive and reasonable rental price for your product based on market rates and the condition of your product. Avoid overpricing, as it may discourage potential renters. Consider offering discounts for longer rental durations or special promotions to attract more renters.
  • If your product has unique features or benefits, make sure to highlight them in your listing. This could be special functionalities, customizations, or added value that sets your product apart from others.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries or booking requests from potential renters.

How do I change my email address or phone number?

You can go to My Profile section of Dashboard and edit your Bank Details.

How do I add, edit or remove an image?

a Go to Dashboard > My Listing > All Listings

b Go to the product’s edit option by hovering your mouse from right to left in the Actions column

c Select the Edit option from the popup menu.

d Edit the product’s image from there and then click Update.

e Your image(s) will be made live after the admin’s approval.

Why has my account been Inactive?

For what duration can I Give On Rent a product?

You can Give On Rent your products for days, months, or years, as desired. While listing your product, simply select the applicable durations for which you want to Give On Rent and specify the respective price details.

Who will Keep the Security of the Rented Product.?

Although the security amount is decided by the owner, but it is kept by RenIt4Me, as a neutral entity. This is done to ensure fair and neutral handling of disputes; in case dispute arises between the renter and the product owner.

How much should be the security amount of a product?

Although the owners are free to decide the security amount they want for their product, it is always recommended to consider the depreciation value of the product before listing it. A fair security amount will help owners to rent their products quickly.

How QC of the product is done?

Quality control (QC) is an important aspect of renting out products on a Rentit4me marketplace. It ensures that the items being rented out are in good condition, safe to use, and meet the expectations of the renters. Here are some common steps involved in the QC process:

  • Inspection: Before listing your item for rent, thoroughly inspect it for any damage, wear & tear, or functional issues.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the item to ensure it is in good condition for rental. Make sure the item is in proper working condition and ready for use by renters.

Pricing And Payments

How and when do Owner's get paid?

The security amount will be kept by Rentit4me for the entire rent duration. The rental charges will be paid to the owner after 24 hrs from the date of the delivery from the owner.

How To get a Product on rent from Rentit4me?

To Rent in your products, on Rentit4me, you need to:

a. Find what you are looking for on Renit4me marketplace under various categories or use Search feature to find the desired product

b. Once you find what you want to rent, click Make An Offer

c. Register or sign up on Rentit4me, if not done already.

d. Use chat feature to chat with the product owner, if required.

e. Click Make an offer and booky the item for the dates you need it in the Make an offer window that appears.

f. As the owner accepts your offer, you can go to the Rentals ->offers made then Choose Self Pick up or Delivery Partner and provide your delivery location and make the payment. In Case, you have opted for Self pick-up, the details of pick up shall be shared post payment through email.

g. As the owner accepts your offer, you can go to the offer made and make the payment.

h. Returny the item to the owner and leave a review.

How do I cancel a rental offer before it has been accepted by the Owner?

From your Dashboard go to Orders, click Offers made for the product which you want to cancel. Go to Actions and choose Cancel to cancel the product.

The cancellation charges apply as follows:

Delivery Scheduled greater than 48 Hours - No Cancellation charges. The security amount will be returned within 7 working days.

Delivery Scheduled less than 48 Hours - The delivery charges+ convenience fee will be deducted from the security amount. The rest of the security amount and the rental amount will be returned within 7 working days.
